The following is a short description on how to format your text using 

HTML tags.



HTML tags appear at the beginning and end of the text that you want to 

affect. For instance let's say that you want to make a word appear in 

bold type. Just before the word you would type the bold tag <b>, this 

turns on the bold feature, now you have to turn it off or all the text 

below this tag will appear in bold also, that includes all of the 

previous posts. To turn it off you would type the cancel bold tag </b> 

after the word that you want to appear in bold type. 



The tags themselves are invisible and will not appear in your posted 

text, and they do not take up spaces in your text. For instance 

"This<b>word</b> is bold." would appear as "Thisword is bold." So make 

sure that you have the proper space characters between words.

These next two are not needed on this wall as they are automatically 

entered as you type your text, but there are other walls that do not 

incorporate this feature, so you may find it necessary to use them 

elsewhere.

This one is good for posting quoted material, it indents both margins.
